Fly-fish for rainbow trout in the Mpumalanga Highlands near Dullstroom
Stonecutters Lodge is situated in the trout triangle of Mpumalanga – arguably where the best trout fishing in South Africa occurs. The Dorp’s River is a perennial stream that runs for 3 kms through the Stonecutters property. There are 2 well-stocked dams and wild trout breed in the river. The maintained riverbanks are cleared for easy access. Stonecutter’s dams are stocked monthly from March – November.
Nature lovers, joggers, walkers and birdwatchers can all enjoy the 3 kilometre river meander running through the property. If you are looking for self-catering accommodation with excellent trout fishing in Mpumalanga, book a stay at Stonecutters.
